Leontyuk Family COVID-19 Relief Fund

The Leontyuk family has been severely impacted by COVID-19 and needs your help.
Ivan and his wife Mariya, as well as their daughter Alla, tested positive for COVID-19 the beginning of April. They all live in the same home, along with Alla’s husband Mike. Mariya fought the devastating illness from home while Ivan and Alla were hospitalized. Ivan and Alla needed ventilators and Alla was put into a medically-induced coma for 10 days. On April 16, after 12 days in the hospital, Ivan passed away. A small service was held for him on April 23.
Alla is now recovering at home. She is very weak and requires oxygen to help her breathe. Mariya is also recovering from the virus and has taken unpaid leave from work to take care of Alla.
Alla’s husband Mike was able to quarantine himself in another area of the home and has tested negative for the virus. He will be starting back to work at the end of April.
Ivan and Mariya were together for more than 40 years. When Ivan was paralyzed from a car accident three years ago, Alla became his caregiver. The family is an active part of the Ukrainian Bible Church in Fairview and Alla looks forward to returning to her missionary work helping children in Honduras when she is able.
Mariya and Mike are both janitors for Relay Resources. Mariya has been with the organization for over 20 years, currently cleaning at a 911 call center, while Mike helps cover at multiple locations as needed.
The family is very grateful for the love and support of their friends and family. Flowers and food left at their doorstep have been welcome blessings in this time of recovery. Mariya is also thankful that she and Alla are able to be with each other through this.
Your donation will help the family cover bills and mortgage payments while they focus on recovery during this difficult time.
