Leo's Leukemia Battle

Leo is the love of our lives. I know some people may say he is just a dog, but he is not. Leo is only two  and a half years old and still has so much life to live. Unfortunately during a visit to the vet for which we thought was an infection or blockage, we found out that Leo has Acute Leukemia. This cancer is extremely aggressive and without chemo, Leo would not have made it through the week. We started the chemo this past week in hopes to allow Leo to continue a good life. Leo will need to get chemo every week. Even with chemo, the prognosis is not good and may only be a few months. Unfortunately with oncology vet visits, medicine and chemotherapy each week, it is EXPENSIVE!!  Vet bills so far have already been close to $3,000 after just two visits and chemo/bloodwork/ultrasound each week is at minimum $500 and thats without the additional tests.
