Leprekhan RAJ Tattoo Autism Fundraiser
Tax deductible
So here is the deal...
I have covered the Atlanta Braves for many years now as a sportswriter and I made the ill-advised choice of betting with the internet that if Ronald Acuna Jr. put up a 40/40 season, I would get a tattoo to immortalize it. This has been a standing bet for the last couple of years and it appears as though my time could come this season with the stolen bases half of the equation already locked up.
The bet still stands regardless of how this fundraiser goes, but how extensive said tattoo is will be determined by you, the people. Autism research is very near and dear to my heart as my stepson is on the autism spectrum and I know many others whose lives have been impacted by autism. So, in an effort to use this platform I find myself with for good, I want to raise money for the Organization of Autism Research which is one of the best "bang for your buck" autism charities out there that don't demonize those on the spectrum. If we hit the first goal, the tattoo will be more elaborate and then I will have to think of another stretch goal.
Before you animals get any ideas, no....face/neck tattoos are not on the table. I hope you consider donating to a great cause because even if Ronnie doesn't get to 40/40 or if we don't hit the goal, the money goes straight to a great cause.
