Lesa Needs Our Help

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

My name is Nic, and I am reaching out to you on behalf of my incredible mother, Lesa. For the past week, my mom has been in the hospital for almost a week now, recovering from a serious illness. Those of you who know her understand just how strong and resilient she is, always putting others first with a smile on her face.

Lesa has dedicated her life to making others feel beautiful through her work as a salon owner. Her salon is not just a business; it's a community hub where clients become friends and everyone feels at home. Many of you have been clients of hers for decades, and know just how wonderful of a person my mom truly is. However, with Lesa unable to work while she recovers, the salon's future is uncertain, and I want to try to alleviate that stress for her, so she can focus solely on recovering.

Running a small business comes with many expenses that don't stop, even when you need to take time off for your health. At this moment, we don't know how long she will remain hospitalized. The costs of rent, utilities, and supplies are adding up quickly, and with mom unable to work, it's putting an immense financial stress on her, which is the last thing she needs right now as she tries to rebound from this surprise medical emergency. We don't know how long that recovery time will look like either, unfortunately.

We are asking for your support to help cover these expenses during Lesa’s recovery period. Your generous contributions will ensure that her salon remains open and ready for her return once she's fully healed. This building means the world to her, she sees it not just as a business but as a legacy she can leave behind for me, and her grandchildren. Every dollar raised will go directly towards keeping the lights on, paying the bills, and maintaining the space that means so much to our little family.

My mother, the faithful caretaker, eternally there for all of us even when she herself is quietly struggling, has a real hard time asking others for help. So I’m doing that for her. It’s our turn to be there for her. Let’s take these financial worries off her plate so she can focus solely on getting back to her healthy, vibrant, strong self.
