Leslee's Cancer Fight

Leslee was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer at the age of 29. As you can imagine, the diagnosis was shocking. As a wife and mom to an 8-year-old daughter, she knew the only option she had was to fight. Leslee immediately met with a team of doctors, including a surgeon and an oncologist. After meeting with the team of physicians, it was determined that Leslee would start chemo as soon as possible. The initial four rounds of chemo are intense and scheduled for every other week. Leslee will begin a weekly chemo regimen for 12 weeks after completing the first four infusions. The final steps will be surgery, a mastectomy, followed by a long line of radiation. The treatment is long, but Leslee has met the challenge with optimism and strength.

The Scoles Family has received immense support from their family, friends, and co-workers. Leslee has continued working as long as possible, but her ability to work has been dramatically reduced with the intensifying treatments. The funds raised will help their family with day-to-day expenses, incoming medical bills, and the extra things that will keep coming up with a cancer diagnosis.
