7/19/23 UPDATE: as of now Leslie’s cancer has come back as a new mass in her cervix. Doctors are discussing the possibility of removing all her reproductive organs, her bladder and Rectum. Leslie will be going in for a petscan to see exactly where the cancer has spread through. Leslie will continue her battle with cancer at the University of Miami. Leslie wants to thank everyone who has made a donation and took time to read her story. Leslie is a strong individual who has the will power to continue to fight as long as she can. Our beloved family member Leslie Ann Cotto who is 33 years old, has been diagnosed with Stage 3c Cervical Cancer. This was shocking and unexpected to the family, we are trying to cope and see how we can assist and get everything in place, because we don’t know the outcome, but we pray that she recovers, she has 4 beautiful kids ages 14-Shanell, 8-JamyLah, 7-Kamiya, and 1-year-old Leon. She is a single mom trying to keep working to make sure she provides a roof and food for her family. She’s been on and off of work, due to severe pain and other complications after being in the hospital for one week doing all types of exams, but her situation is not simple and they cannot perform surgery, because she will not survive due to her fragile state. It has come to the point where she can no longer work, and needs help to care for her family. The treatment started a week ago and is supposed to last about 7 weeks of Chemo & Radiation.

This has taken a toll on her and the whole family, we will continue to support her as much as possible, but reaching out to see if anyone can help with other expenses that will allow her to maintain treatments, and care for her family's simple needs.
