Leslie Cain's Medical Fund

Leslie Cain, highly respected Walla Walla artist & teacher was diagnosed with pneumonia over two weeks ago, and spent nearly two weeks in the hospital, first here at Providence St. Mary,  and then at Kadlec in the Tri-Cities. She has had a rough time, and is very happy to be back home now, staying with her brother Bruce & his wife Melani. She still must have IV antibiotics each day for the next  4-6 weeks.  I'm Jeanne McMenemy, Leslie's friend, and fellow artist. I decided to start this campaign for Leslie, because I know that her medical bills will be insupportable. Self-employed artists are not usually in those upper-echelon income brackets, and an event like this can be devastating.  I hope all the people who have been moved and taken pleasure from Leslie's beautiful paintings, or who have benefitted from her exuberant teaching and her irrepressible spirit which has contributed so much to Walla Walla's cultural life over many years, will chip in to help her out in this difficult time. Whatever you can give will be so appreciated by Leslie and her family.  Those medical bills will be coming in soon.  Thank you.
