I am Dominique Crisp. My family and I are raising funds to cover treatment costs for our mother Leslie Crisp who was quite suddenly diagnosed with a Stage 4 fast spreading cancer that appears to be concentrated in her omentum and right lung. Leslie has chosen to follow an alternate treatment path that will offer her a higher success rate of regaining her health and vitality. Due to the severity of this diagnosis, we have to act fast and have been forced to raise funds in order to save her life!
On March 2nd of this year, my mother went to her doctor complaining of abdominal pain and a decreasing appetite. She was a supposedly healthy woman in her early 60's who devoted her life to the study of health, nutrition, yoga and sharing this knowledge and experience with family and many others connected to her life. On April 20th, a little over a month later, she was diagnosed with a Stage 4 "non-differentiated abno/carcinoma" apparent in her omentum from an undetermined source. The proposed treatment plan of chemotherapy, major surgery, followed by more chemotherapy only offers a 20% rate of success. She was also told she would have an approximate life expectancy of 6 months, should she decide to refuse treatment. The donated funds will go directly toward the diagnostic procedures and treatment of out of pocket expenses incurred so far(approx. $10,000), the 3 week cancer treatment protocol at CHIPSA Hospital in Playas Tijuana (approx. $33,427) and any extra needed to cover travel and a year's supply of therapy protocol necessary to continue her treatments at home. Leslie is determined to continue living a healthy vibrant life surrounded by grandchildren and those dear to her heart.
