Hi, my name is Melinda. I am doing this for my best friend's family. Her name is Leslie Moreno She passed away last night at 3:25 AM. She passed away 2 days before her 42nd birthday. She has been battling an awful disease. Lupus That has turned into multiple other diseases like heart disease, kidney disease. We have all watched this disease, just destroy her. We are all very sad that she has left us. But we all have peace knowing that she's no longer in pain. And she's in a better place. This disease was so hard for her. She tried so hard every day to fight through it and to keep going. She did not want to leave us. But I know she wanted to let go. Because it hurt so bad to stay here. This woman is one of the strongest women. I have ever met and knew in my life during this whole entire time. She has pushed through all of her pains. All of her struggles and she is continued to fight and tried to work to be able to help her family friends and pay her bills. Because this country does not make it easy on any of us. She had to work to pay her bills for her doctors, she would do. Uber Eats and babysitting to be able to make a little bit of money to put gas in her car to be able to pay her doctor's visit or her medications. She took multiple medications last time. I knew and she told me how many pills she took in 1 day was like 35 pills. Or more She was on oxygen and had to use multiple oxygen tanks. Just to be able to walk outside to her car. And even with all these struggles, she still continued to try to work and to push through everything. This woman was a very strong woman. I will always look up to every time I feel weak. I'm gonna remember that She pushed through all of her pains and all her struggles to keep going. I ask if anyone can donate anything. This would help her family so much. Be able to get through these hard times Leslie did not like to be in the hospital. There's been times that I've had to stay with her. Her family has had to stay with her just to get her to go get medical treatment. One of her sisters stayed with her the entire week. And so this has made a big financial impact on her and supporting her children. Because she promised her sister that she would stay by her side until the end and would not leave her alone in that hospital. And she's stuck to that promise and I'm doing. This goFundme to help with anything that her family may need. Because I know this is what leslie would want leslie Had such a kind heart and wanted to help everyone. I will love her forever. And I will miss her very much. And I know everyone that knew her will as well. She has her wings now and free from pain and now she can rest in peace
