Help Leslie Posey fight Leukemia

Hi, I'm am Kathy ... mother to Leslie Posey and grandma to Malachi - this little cutie.

Leslie was just diagnosed with AML... acute myelogenous leukemia and was admitted to UCSF San Francisco on March 1st. She will undergo aggressive chemotherapy for the next 7 days. We know she will be in the hospital for 28-35 days minimum. In the meantime, the doctors will be searching for a bone marrow donor and hopefully the transplant will happen within the next 2 or 3 months.

We understand that after the bone marrow transplant, Leslie will be required to stay in the Bay Area for two months (within 2 hour drive of hospital). We will hopefully be able to rent a place close the hospital as needed so she has a peaceful environment during this recovery time. She will need someone with her 24/7. My husband and I live in northern Idaho, and her sister lives in Clovis - we will do what we can to be there for her, but we expect we will need to hire care for a considerable portion of this time. We don't know what we don't know about this period of time. We are praying for wisdom!

While there are more unknowns than anything, we know $$ is going to be a challenge. We are humbly asking for whatever help you may be able to give. Your gifts are so appreciated!
