FMSD Crossing Guard - Leslie Richardson - Road to Recovery
Donation protected
Leslie Richardson is a well loved crossing guard for FMSD and active member of the community. One conversation with her and you can see her authenticity and genuine joy for life and the people in it.
Leslie was hit by a car on October 15, 2024 while on duty. Her injuries are extensive, she was transported to the hospital where she had emergency surgery and is currently in ICU. She will have lifelong injuries, and she will have to learn to re-walk. Her road to recovery will be painful and her quality of life, completely changed.
She loves being a crossing guard, loves interacting with all the kids, has an amazing sense of humor and is passionate about serving her community in this way.
She is a a wonderful and dedicated mom, grandmother, girlfriend, sister, and friend.
This was set this up to help offset at least some of the financial burden and allow her to focus on what’s most important - healing. We ask for any prayers and financial support if you can as she takes time to recover. Thank you all.
