Love for Leslie
Leslie Creekmore was admittted to Mercy Hosptial in Ft. Smith on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014 with complaints of being short of breath. She was transferred to ICU that night and put on full, pressurized oxygen the next day. On Monday, Jan. 13, she was put on a ventilator due to complications from severe double pnuemonia which is most likely a secondary infection from H1N1. She is 20 weeks pregnant and is fighting for her life and the life of her baby.
Leslie was moved via an emergency flight to St. Louis, MO. on Jan 14th. She is in stable, but critical condition while her excellent team of doctors monitor her health. She is currently receiving an experimental drug to fight off the H1N1 and allow her body to recover. Although she is not conscious, which allows the ventilator to better breath for her, she is surrounded by her husband Chris and their amazing family who continue to support her emotionally while the team in St. Louis treats her physically.
Leslie and her baby are fighting for their lives right now and need your help.
Treatment for Leslie is going to be incredibly expensive.
We are asking for donations to help ease the financial burden this unfortunate and unexpected illness has caused.
Thank you for your concern and care for such an amazing young woman and please, continue to pray for Leslie and her unborn child's swift recovery.
