Help Leslie's recovery from car accident injuries

Our amazing nanny, Leslie, and our three kids were struck by a pickup truck while crossing the street on the evening of December 21 (https://www.cp24.com/news/woman-child-seriously-injured-after-being-hit-by-vehicle-in-cedarvale-1.6204876). Leslie took the brunt of the impact and has sustained serious injuries, including a broken femur and pelvis. Needless to say, Leslie has a long road to recovery.

Anyone who has met Leslie knows how incredible she is. She is the most caring, smart, responsible and just generally wonderful person out there. When Leslie was hurt in the accident, all she wanted to know -- despite the immense pain she was in -- was whether my kids were okay. That's just who she is. She is our family, and we want to help her.

Leslie has her own family who she helps to support, including an adorable baby who will be turning 1 in a few weeks. To get through the next several months, Leslie is going to need lots of support at home to care for her family, as well as medical support to heal her injuries.
