Lessen the Financial Impact of Cancer

I was shocked and incredibly saddened two months ago when one of my best friends, Ariane Cox, let me know she was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. Because of her young age, her doctors thought her stomach issues were from an infection. After a colonoscopy, it was confirmed that it was not an infection, but colon cancer and after a PET scan, it was confirmed that it has spread to lymph nodes all over her body. Her and her husband had to quickly uproot their lives in Midland and move to Fort Worth to begin chemotherapy. Medical bills have been outrageous, as were moving costs. Because most of Ariane and her husband's time is spent going to doctor and chemotherapy visits, they can no longer work full time, which means half the income. I'd love to show them some love and support while easing the financial burden of a very awful illness!
