Lester Duenas

Lester Anthony Duenas was born on March 25, 1955 to Joaquin and Maria Duenas in Tamuning, Guam. Lester passed away at the age of 68 away of natural causes at his home on July 31, 2023 at his home in Portola, CA.

Lester is survived in death by his four children, Megan Crittenden, Jeremiah Balcupo, Andrea Zielinski & Nathan Duenas. Also survived are sister Tillie Duenas, Kenneth Duenas, brother and sister & brother-in-law Arlene and Patrick Johannik. Preceded in death by brother Joseph Duenas, mother, Maria Duenas, father Joaquin Duenas and aunt Mama Q.

Two services will be held in Lester’s Memory, the 1st at The Station Church in Portola CA at 1pm the 2nd will be held at St. Barnabas Catholic Church in Alameda, CA at 9:30am & reception to follow at 1400 Bar and Grill, we are starting a go fund me to help with the services and estate closure for our father Lester Duenas.

A man that was truly loved and always the most colorful soul in the room. To honor him and so all who adored him may say their goodbyes, we will be holding two services... one in the Bay Area, California where he spent most of his days and one in Portola, California - his place of retirement after the railroad.
