Lester's Road to Recovery

Good morning—

This is Beverly Aguiling, wife of Lester “Banjo” Chan.  First, I would like to thank each and everyone of you for all the positive thoughts, prayers, and donation you’ve given him.  There are no words to describe how grateful we both are for everything you have done.  

Banjo continues to progress, but still has a long road to recovery.  It is our hope to be able to transfe him closer to our home in San Pedro so he can be closer to his friends and family.  We are hoping it will be UCLA.

We thank you again for all the kind words, uplifting support, and donations where it will be used towards medical expenses towards his recovery.

On Wednesday, June 6th our dear friend Lester Chan aka Banjo was critically injured in a quad accident in Baja California.  He was riding with a group of kitchen and bath industry friends when something went terribly wrong and Lester ended up in critical condition.  After being rushed to a local hospital from a remote location of the accident he had a limited quality care in Mexico.  He was in need of a vital surgery to save his leg but it couldn't be performed at the local hospital.   As a result, Lester had to be airlifted out of Mexico to a hospital in San Diego area where he went under medical procedure on June 9th.  As friends and industry family, we are asking everyone for prayers and any contribution you can offer.   Lester is still in critical condition with a long road to recovery.  Thank you all so much for your support and we'll keep you posted on Lester's recovery as we get updates from the family and his medical team.  All donations will go towards medical and recovery expenses.
