Let Them Choose

Let Them Choose is an initiative born from the Let Them Breathe community. This is a separate fundraiser to fund advocacy and ongoing legal action against forced student  V mandates and empower families to make their own choices. 

Let Them Breathe stands for choice, is advocating for families to be free to make their own decisions, and has already taken legal action against CA m@## mandates. Let Them Choose sent a demand letter to SDUSD and then won in court against them, proving that their mandate is unlawful. Since then SDUSD has filed an appeal and tried to make families think they still have to comply with their mandate. We have had to go back to court to clarify that there is no stay against our ruling and also put out advocacy resources so families know their rights.

We need to continue to fundraise in order to oppose their appeal and we are confident we will continue to prevail and uphold student rights. This is a true grassroots movement showing that when parents hold schools accountable to the law it is positive and effective.

*The funding for advocacy and legal efforts against V mandates will go through this fundraiser and are separate from the funds that have already been raised/will be raised to end m@## mandates.
