Let's Fight For Liz
Donation protected
Liz was diagnosed in February 2019 with myelodysplastic syndrome, which is a form of bone marrow cancer. Two weeks ago, she was informed that the cancer has progressed from low risk to high risk
myeloid neoplasm which can turn into leukemia at any point. The doctor told her she needed a bone marrow transplant immediately and now she is scheduled for the first week of October. Luckily she was able to find a donor who was a 100% match!
Prior to this, she was underwent 6 cycles of chemotherapy. As we know, cancer is an expensive treatment. With the transplant, she will be hospitalized for at least 4-5 weeks and we need a 24 hour caregiver for 3 months. She is expected to be out of work for 6-12 months. The family is facing a huge financial hardship. My hope is to lessen the burden and I am hoping you can be a financial blessing to her and the family.
