Let's get Bec better

Every now and then you meet someone whose soul shines so brightly and beautifully that you sense them coming. That's Bec. Bec is a 39 year old musician and school teacher, with a heart of gold and the voice of an angel. Born and bred in Central Queensland.
In 2013 Bec was diagnosed with thyroid cancer, unfortunately last year it returned with a vengeance, requiring numerous neck dissections and radioactive iodine treatments. Bec has faced these surgeries, treatments and associated hardships with humility and grace. Results showed these weren't as successful as hoped and the cancer has moved to her lungs.
Treatment in Australia is now limited. As well as following doctor’s recommendations, Bec is also sourcing alternative treatments and is still working hard to try and fund these. Even so, it is still out of reach. She is working closely with Dr. Hossami ( Thailand Oncologist) at the Veritalife Clinic in Bangkok. https://veritalife.com
At the moment she is following their recommended protocol and medications available in Australia. We need to organise to get her to Bangkok for 2 months at a cost of roughly $90,000 where Dr. Hossami who has treated these types of cancer in the past is confident of a positive outcome.
Our goal is to cover these costs for treatment overseas and additional medications whilst allowing her some breathing space to focus on recovery.
Bec forms one half of the sister duo 'Innocent Eve'. http://www.innocenteve.com.au/ Bec and Rachel, both school teachers and active members of their community, are two of the kindest, most real, humble people you could ever meet. Always the first to lend a hand and open their hearts to help others. If you haven't had a listen to their music do yourself a favour. https://youtu.be/BJlCTmyjHv8
Let's all unite and send our love and healing vibes her way.
