Let's Help Jill Baker!

One of our good friends, Jill Baker, needs our help.
Without warning, in late January 2020, Jill was diagnosed with acute liver failure. What Jill thought was just a minor stomach issue, turned out to be something that darn near cost her her life. As a result, Jill had a liver transplant on February 7, 2020.
The medical team still doesn't know what caused Jill's liver to suddenly fail, but it did. And thankfully, she was at the best place in the Kansas City area to have that transplant operation - St. Luke's Hospital on the Plaza.
Jill has been in the hospital since late January 2020 (she missed watching the Chiefs Super Bowl victory and the Super Bowl parade) and will likely be in the hospital for several more days to a week. After she is discharged from the hospital it will be a pretty lengthy road to recovery - definitely many months.
Jill is looking forward to her recovery, getting back on her bicycle, and trying to get back to a sense of normalcy, but as we all know, it will take time. As a result, she will be out of commission from work for who knows how long.
While we are all pretty confident that she will be able to use some donated time from her many work colleagues, that will take time to arrange, and her bills will still be coming in. While she does have insurance, Jill still does have a pretty large deductible to pay.
So.....we are hoping that YOU would be able to donate to Jill's cause and help defray some of her expenses. She will have ongoing medical expenses as she recovers. We all want Jill to get better quickly and having one less thing to worry about will help her on the road to a quick recovery. Any help to alleviate some of the bills is appreciated.
