Let's help Logi Bear back to health

Gorgeous Logi Bear(Logan James Rain Hector Grieve) is a two years old active boy who loves playing outside. His parents worst nightmare came true when he was bitten in face by a dog. Due to this terrible incident, little Logi had dog tooth through his right eye socket, resulting in compound fracture at the back of eye socket, 5 inch gash to forehead including fracture to center forehead skull, terrible wounds to right side of face. He needed hours of surgery to save the right eye, multiple CT scans, MRI scans, 46 stitches in total.

Thanks to 4 fabulous teams -  Neurology, Infections, Surgical and Paediatric, hopefully his right eye will recover completely.

Initial donations will go towards medical travel, medical assistance and accommodation. Parents don't have private health cover, so only one of the parents can stay at the hospital with Logi. Therefore, they had to rent an apartment near hospital as they live in Katherine.

As the father is the sole income earner for Logi, his mom and his 8 week old sister, insurance has informed that it is not being covered for compassionate grounds. They have taken out a small loan and going through a process of selling the car to cover some of these unforeseeable costs. 

Little logi will need at least 3 weeks of treatments and surgeries and in best case scenario 6-8 weeks of rehabilitation. 

All these parent want to do is to concentrate supporting their little boy through this nightmare and last thing they should worry about is how to scrape together money for associated medical costs.

Terence Grieve (father) works in security and has been keeping all the staff and patrons in Darwin venues safe and happy on their nights out. Terence has the biggest heart, always greeting everyone with pure happiness.
