Let's Help Rodney Johnson's Daughter Georgia

Donation protected
Update February 14th, 2020.

My name is Craig Glover some of you may know me some of you may not. I was very close to Rodney for nearly 20 years. We worked together in the skateboard industry for years. I know Rodney would be so happy that so many people helped out his sweet little girl. Rodney passed away due to hepatic failure On January 27th, 2020. Rodney was taken away from his daughter, friends, and family way too soon.

I just wanted to reach out to everyone who has donated to this campaign in support of Rodney Johnson's Daughter Georgia. First off, I and Rodney's family are forever grateful for your generous support.  Rodney loved his little girl more than life itself. We always talked about sweet Georgia and he wanted the best for her. Having a daughter myself I know how hard it was for him to be away from her as she lives in California and he was in Jacksonville.

My intention for this campaign is for all the funds generated by this campaign in loving memory of Rodney to support his only child Georgia. All the funds raised on this page will be transferred to Georgia's mother Ann. These funds will be put into a trust fund for Georgia. It's my hope that this money we have raised becomes the start of a college fund for Georgia, that decision will be up to her and her mother in the end.

Once we end this campaign I will transfer all money raised to Ann.  The total amount raised so far after fees taken by Go Fund me is $8,285.06 This amount will be exactly what I transfer to Ann once everything clears. I just want everyone to know my only intention is to take care of Georgia. I assured Rodney's father, Mr Johnson, at Rodney's funeral that 100% of all money raised would go to Georgia and he was very appreciative of this. He didn't want any of the money we raised to go towards the funeral expenses.

There will be a huge celebration on February 23rd at Prince Skatepark in Oceanside CA.  Two things Rodney loved was skateboarding and BBQ. So come out and celebrate with us. Rodney was the most humble and hilarious person I have ever met.  His memory will live with all that he touched while he was here!

Geeeeeeeeeyahhhhhhh Bubba! We love you brother!! Big Thanks to EVERYONE!

UPDATE:
Hello, everyone, our beloved friend, father, skateboarder, and son Rodney Lamar Johnson passed away on January 27th, 2020 at around 6:50 am.  He was surrounded by immediate family and went peacefully.

Rodney was larger than life itself. Rodney touched so many lives while he was here with us. This man helped countless people in the skateboard industry for over 20 years. This man was responsible for so many kids looking to fulfill a dream in skateboarding. The mentor Rodney Johnson was like no other he was harsh at times but also the most loving person you could ever meet. He understood kids and helped them understand themselves.

We are still fighting to raise money for Rodney's family and daughter Georgia. Anything you can do to help our friend, father and mentor to many is so appreciated to him and his family. Please keep Rodney in your thoughts. I will say this he would want us to celebrate his life rather than morn it. He would want us to remember the "GOOD TIMES"

One love for RODNEY!  BUBBA we love you!
