Make The Dream Reality (Morehouse)

Since I was a young boy I have followed and admired the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. At a young age, there were many values I saw in Dr. King that I shared. These values are leadership, service and compassion. These values are the same values that my parents have imparted in me and my brother since birth.

Like Dr. King, I reverence the divine power over me to serve and lead. In my leadership capacities throughout the various organizations I serve, it is always in the front of my mind that I am to be a servant leader. I live by the motto that says, “the best leaders are the best servants”.  Also like Dr. King, I am a very compassionate individual. This is demonstrated through giving of my time and talents to serve others in need.

It is because of these values that I am who I am today. It is because of these values that I want to transfer to Morehouse College. Morehouse will offer me an opportunity to attend and be involved in a college that embodies the same values as me and allows me to reach my highest potential.
