Let's Talk About It Now
Donation protected
With all that is going on in America, having the ability to talk to someone about any feelings you are having is a great option.
Join the BFT Initiative to provide free therapy for those in need.
The funds will be used for individuals dealing with any emotions (stress, anxiety, worry, depression, anger, hurt, grief, etc.) that they want to discuss.
With the funding, we will connect those in need with a black female therapist for free therapy services.
This support is greatly needed in our society with all that has been occurring in 2020. Help us give those in need a safe space to talk.

Who We Are:
Black Female and Male Therapist is an online community focused on promoting black therapists with our directory as well as black mental health and wellness. Black Female and Male Therapists was created in 2018 due to limited directories for black therapists. Though the initial reason for the BFT and BMT was to promote black therapists, it quickly being to gain traction in the black community. Not only do we have a directory for those searching for black therapists but have started a community and safe space for black mental health. From indulging in the newest self-care strategies to helping strategize mental health issues, we live for being a daily go-to source for mental health.
Where Are We Located:
Atlanta, Georgia
Why Are We Raising Funds:
The Free Therapy Initiative #letstalkaboutitnow is to help those in need of therapy, especially during this time. We want therapy to be accessible to all and not just some. Therapy can be expensive and by raising funds, we are able to provide therapy for those that are unable to cover the cost. No one should have to suffer in silence.
How Will the Funds Be Used:
Black Female and Male Therapists will use the funding to cover the cost of each individual that request services. Here's the process:
1. Complete a form for services. You can find the application here
2. Someone from the BFT will review the application and attempt to connect the individual with a therapist in their state
3. One a connection has been identified, the individual's information will be sent to the therapist as well as a confirmation email will be sent to the applicant to confirm connection.
4. Payment will be made via Paypal between the therapist and Black Female and Male Therapists once the applicant has confirm the sessions have been scheduled.
