Letha Allen Fuller Memorial Fund

I just can’t express the loss I feel as I sit and right this post.

Brain Cancer. I hate those words.

I have heard those words too many times. When my amazing best friend was ending her journey here on earth after a battle with brain cancer my sweet mother in law Letha Fuller grieved with me and held my hand in tears as we navigated her loss.

I could never have imagined that just a few years later my amazing mother in law Letha Fuller (64)  would be diagnosed in October 2020 with the same stage 4 glioblastoma (aggressive form of brain cancer).

Her fight began just 7 months ago, when she started having headaches, and felt a bit off.  She waited a week and then went into see what was going on.  She was struck with the devastating news that their were multiple brain tumors the required immediate surgery and treatment.

She battled hard through 6 week of full brain radiation and concurrent chemo in pill form.  Her joy and humor shone through to every nurse, doctor and gas station attendant as she encouraged each one of them on what an amazing job they were doing and to live life to the "fullest".

Her body just started to fail a few weeks after the conclusion of the treatment and the mix of medicines, and side effects just overwhelmed her immune system.  Her joy remained even in the midst of her pain and setbacks.

On May 8, 2021, our cherished Letha Fuller passed into the loving arms of her savior.

As her son Josh Fuller so amazingly said it,  My Mom was an amazing person with God's love inside her that she could not keep contained. She made me laugh, she made me cry but above all things she made me see God's love displayed through her for everyone she encountered or had an opportunity to help.
My Mom was truly a great woman, not in the sense of worldly accomplishments or possessions but in the everlasting joy that will live on far beyond her short 64ish years on this planet.
What an amazing party they are having in heaven!

Her son Robbie (my husband) and her two grand-children Max (10) and Maddie (8) and I live overseas for work so due to covid travel restrictions we were unable to go home to visit or see her sweet face one last time.

We have had so many wonderful people ask how they can help our family in this most heartbreaking of moments.   We have created this page to help her amazing husband Ben Fuller of 45 years navigate her memorial costs, medical bills, and for the education fund of her granddaughter Aizley.

If you knew or met Letha and have a story to share about her please click  Here  to access her online memorial and share all the photos and stories of her for us to read and keep for the family to remember her and for our kids to hear the stories of how she touched your lives.

A memorial service will be held in her honor on May 22, 2021 at 11am at First Baptist Church Indian Trail, Indian Trail, North Carolina.

But most of all to remind anyone reading to please take time today to stop, put your phone down ( yes I get the irony that your are reading this on your phone right now but just go with me on this) be quiet, and give thanks for the things you have to be thankful for.
For us, we are giving thanks for a wonderful mom, a lifetime of memories to look back on, and a Jesus-loving legacy that is to be admired.
“...Well done good and faithful servant”
