Leticia Townsend

With heavy hearts we share that Leticia Townsend died suddenly on November 7th.

My name is Maurissa (Leticia’s cousin) and I am fundraising on behalf of Leticia’s children and life partner who lost her unexpectedly this week.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out and offered condolences and support. Leticia will be missed by so many. Leticia was the loving and proud mother of Nevaeha (17), and Lamari (15). If you knew Leticia, you know her kids were her pride and joy. If you know Nevaeh or Lamari, you know the bond they had with their mother was very strong.

As you can imagine, the loss of a mother and life partner is so extremely tragic and they need all of the help possible to navigate through this emotionally and also financially. To start with, we would like to help with the funeral expenses. Then we would like to make sure Leticia’s kids have financial support to continue pursuing their education and fulfilling their dreams.

I know they have so much love surrounding them but if you can help with a donation, it would lift that part of the financial burden. Please also feel free to comment with your favorite memory of Tisha as we all begin this mourning process to lift the hearts of those left behind.

Please keep her kids and their dad, her parents, sisters, brothers, and all those missing her in your prayers. We can not take her place, but as a community we can continue to share our memories, pictures, support, love … and cheer just a little bit louder.
