Let’s all help Our Sally get her smile back

Hey! This is Paris from a friendly little Salon based in Wakefield. One of our good friends who we all love dearly has been seriously unwell since early may and has powered on until 2 weeks ago when she had to admit defeat and take time off work.

unfortunately her symptoms had progressively gotten worse. She’s struggling to eat and drink, losing weight quickly (she doesn’t have the weight to lose) high doses of ppi medication, strangling sensation in throat/neck/chest making it uncomfortable to talk and swallow, intense pain from throat to lower abdomen making even sleeping difficult.

Shes had absolutely no luck from the doctor after being back and forth many many times which has now resulted in paying for a private gastroenterology consultation. It was mentioned that there is a strong chance it could be a rare/only newly recognised condition called Eosinophilic esophagitis which mimics every symptom currently present. Privately, diagnostic test costs around £2300. NHS waiting list is EXTREMELY long. Her strength and energy is running out rapidly and her mental health is being impacted because she wants to be the best mum possible to her beautiful girl and is dreaming of getting back to her usual happy self, back to work at the salon with all her amazing, supportive girls and making her clients (who have mostly become friends) beautiful! She’s not strong enough as it stands to have the test as would need to come off medication which will inevitably cause fatigue, pain, weightloss but hope in the near future to be strong enough as this is the only way to find out exactly what's going on and what's causing it in hopes to prevent any future relapses.

Please please please, help us if you can in anyway. Anything will be the biggest help right now. Let’s get our girl back right and back in her happy place.
