Let’s alleviate the financial burdens for Lisa
Donation protected
On Christmas Eve, a very dear friend of mine and many others, Lisa, had her world completely ripped apart. This beautiful, young wife and mother was told that she has cancer. Whilst trying to comprehend this information, Lisa then received another blow from her doctors, who announced that it is not only aggressive, but advanced as well. They have told Lisa that she does not have long to live. As anyone can imagine, this was a huge blow for Lisa, her family and friends, who all care so deeply for her. Being the loving, but tenacious person that she is, she is dealing with this news with the same dignity, she has dealt with everything in her life.
Currently, her doctors are devising an eating plan for Lisa, so that she can go home to be with her loving family (3 beautiful daughters and her husband). However, Lisa’s husband is a black cab driver in London, which means that if he doesn’t work, he doesn’t get paid and is unable to be with his wife of more than 30 years. They were childhood sweethearts and remain in love and each others best friend, to this day.
This is where we can come in and help to alleviate some of the financial burden and allow them to spend their final weeks and days together as a family. What a great opportunity we all have to play a part in something so important and invaluable to Lisa and her family.
I have been fortunate enough to know Lisa since we were 11 years old (39 years ago). She has always been a kind, caring, fun and loyal friend, who would do anything for others. She has always been a loving daughter, a protective big sister, a doting mum and a loving wife. After speaking with some of Lisa’s friends, I have decided to reach out to others who who would like the opportunity to contribute to such a worthwhile cause.
Please be generous, so we can ensure this beautiful family are able to be together at this extremely difficult time, without worrying about how they are going to pay their bills.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all in advance for your generosity and love for Lisa Prowse (nee Wakeford) and her family.
