Dev Expo is an initiative inspired by Facebook Developer Circle of Port-au-Prince and Banj organized specifically for and around Haitian developers. It consists of a community conference and exhibition on relevant and innovative topics around the world of technology, as well as activities to boost the creativity and autonomy of Haitian developers.

 

DevExpo is the only technical conference (not-for-marketing or talk-about-solutions) in Haiti. It is scheduled to be hosted again this year on December 11th (2021) at the Karibe Hotel in Haiti.

 

The main objective of Dev Expo is to boost the digital economy through Haitian developers.

 

We were thinking as a community we can be a sponsor at the event. We are targeting their Bronze package and in the spirit to keep things open, we have setup this gofundme for anyone in the community to join and donate -- that would be our contribution to the event, as a whole, as TICHaiti.
