Let's be a leg for Woody to stand on
Donation protected
Our friend Woody Downs suffered a life-threatening heart emergency on 10/26/22. After flat-lining in the emergency room, he was rushed to surgery, where he had a heart valve replacement. The next day, while in ICU, he was found to have a blood clot in his right leg and was rushed to surgery again. The wound from this surgery was never able to be closed and never healed. Unfortunately, this led to Woody losing his leg to amputation on 11/17/22.
While Woody's health is beginning to improve, he has a long road ahead of him. He is still in the hospital on dialysis and has physical therapy.
Woody and his wife, Annette are both self-employed small business owners. They have had no income during this period. They will need to make changes to their home to accommodate Woody's situation, including building a handicap ramp to the house and making changes to their bathroom. We hope people will donate to help them make these changes and help them through this difficult time.
We thank you in advance for any donations, prayers and positive thoughts for this family
