Jimmy Jon Chase's Medical Fund

First of all, thank you for taking the time to read a brief synopsis of Jimmy Jon Chase’s story. It is hard to encompass one’s impact in such a short space and our hope is that those who know and care for Jimmy Jon will assist in easing the financial burden during this time. 

Jimmy Jon is the son of Cloud (Freddy) Chase Jr and Diane Owens and has 5 siblings. He graduated from Poplar High School (Poplar, MT) in 1990. After high school, he joined the United States Marine Corps. Following in his father's footsteps for the love of singing, you could find him on the Pow Wow Trail. 

He is a  single parent to two daughters, Shannon Marie and Shauna Mea Chase. As a single parent, his dedication to his daughters is immense even during this time.

Jimmy Jon had a kidney removed in 2015 when he was diagnosed with Renal Cell Carcinoma and in 2018, he received a devastating blow when he was informed that the cancer had returned and had metastasized to his pancreas. The diagnoses was Stage 4 and terminal. As if this was not enough to digest, mentally and emotionally, he recently had to have a surgical procedure to remove necrotizing fascilitis (flesh eating disease) with minimal success.  

This campaign is to help them financially for medical expenses, lodging ( They reside in Montana but he is receiving treatment in Williston), food and any other needs that is deemed pertinent.

Frances Black Tail Deer, who is currently assisting Jimmy Jon, will keep him up to date on donations and ensure that he receives what is so kindly given to him. She has  set up an account that only herself and Jimmy Jon will have access to. 

As for me, I am the daughter-in-law of Gary "Foolish Head" Chase and I am merely the tech side of the campaign. :) 

With our help, Jimmy Jon can focus on being a Dad and enjoying time with his family instead of worrying about how he can afford his care or provide for his daughters.
