LET'S BEAT JUDY'S SECOND BATTLE!!!

Hi, my name is Lauren Mckenzie. I am creating this for my mother Judy who is currently fighting her second cancer battle in the past year.

On July 6,2022 she got a clear scan from previously beating bladder cancer. Fast forward to the end of August she started having what we thought was sciatica pain, with multiple treatments and doctors appointments it was not going away. On September 14, 2022 after a visit to the emergency it was discovered that she had a mass sitting on her sciatica, by her colon, along with a pretty large blood clot. The battle started there, reaching out to her oncologist to get everything set we got the news on October 11, 2022 that her tumor was not operable due to location and she needed to start immotherapy right away. Since that very day she was admitted to Spectrum Butterworth for low levels & pain control, after much talk with her doctor she decided it would be best to stay for her 10 radiation treatments. Today she finishes up her last one. As she battles this nasty disease she will now have to go to a rehab facility to regain what she has last over the past two months. We do not have any other information at this time, besides we know that we are going to get her the very best care that she needs.

I hestitated on reaching out, but my heart is telling me that if I can help ease a little bit of the financial burden off my parents as she continues to fight this battle it was the least I could do. Most you may know that Judy and Tim are both self employed, and Tim has been able to be at her beside and be her saving grace day in and day out. I would just like to him to have one less worry on his plate.
