Lets beautify Newkirk plaza Brooklyn

OYE Studios in Partnership with FDC and Newkirk Plaza Merchants will collaborate on a Mosaic mural project. Enhancing the existing mosaic mural in the Newkirk Plaza Tunnel which connects the Marlboro road entrance to the Plaza. During the Pandemic the Plaza has been going through a very tough time, affecting our neighbors, the local businesses and people traveling to the train station. Let's work together and make a positive change through Art Action.  

 We will use recycled and donated material to create a mosaic mural, celebrating the diversity of our community and the abundance of Nature that makes our neighborhood special.

We will be inviting the community to be a part of the mural making process, through workshops and hands-on participation. With the goal of creating collective local solidarity through Art.
