Let's Build a Safer Space Together

It Takes all of us to win the fight against domestic violence, homelessness, and sexual assault by creating a safer space and resources for women in need. Janice's Women's Center, a non-profit (501C3), is in pursuit of making this dream space a reality using recycled shipping containers.

We are looking for financial sponsors and donors to help support our efforts to begin construction and build right away, while working toward brining additional awareness to the cause. The center will be a place to lift up women in need and create a safer community in the long run.

Janice's Women's Center we strive to support women suffering from domestic violence and homelessness. We include homelessness because when a victim is fleeing their abuser, they end up homeless. In Arizona we are suffering from the lack of "Affordable Housing" and "Shelter Beds". There is more calls than there is resources and safe lodging. We are facing a true deficit in these areas and It's time we all come together to support one another in getting more safe lodging for those suffering from Abuse, Sexual Assault and Homelessness. On average, nearly 20 people per minute are physically abused by and intimate partner in the United States.

1 in 4 women and 1 in 9 men experience severe intimate partner physical violence, intimate partner contact sexual violence, and/or intimate partner stalking with impacts such as injury, fearfulness, post-traumatic stress disorder, use of victim services, contraction of sexually transmitted diseases, etc.
