Let's Build the Crimson Melt!

The Crimson Melt brand was born to serve two purposes:

1. We will serve the highest quality gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches and cheesecakes to the patrons of Oklahoma. Our sandwiches and cheesecakes' eclectic recipes, thought processes, and creativity will be unlike anything you’ve witnessed before. We aim to be the #1 grilled cheese establishment in the entire State of Oklahoma, and we will always ensure that our first responders and military are taken care of when they come into our establishment for a meal.

2. As a retired United States Air Force Firefighter myself, I know first-hand what it means for a first responder to suffer from mental health due to the trauma we endure(d) while in the field. Because of this, The Crimson Melt will take a prominent stance in ensuring that our firefighters and other first responders receive effective and efficient mental health treatment. These heroes are putting their lives on the line every day to protect us from harm's way, so we must do a better job of protecting them.

As a retired United States Air Force Veteran, I did my best to protect this country from our enemies, foreign and domestic. Unfortunately, various quality services were not always available to us, and a lot of the time, we had to work our way through different issues. The Crimson Melt will showcase a spotlight on the Veteran PTSD pandemic, and we will join the fight in ensuring that our military men and women are adequately cared for. I’ve personally witnessed so much death, dying, and destruction in my 20-year Air Force career that I earned a double master’s degree in Human Services and Clinical Counseling to help better understand myself and how we can adequately treat all military members and first responders.

Our goal is to raise $20,000 to lease/renovate a parcel for our business. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the cost of land, existing structures and building materials have made it very difficult for us to open our brick-and-mortar restaurant, so we’ve opted to lease until we can raise funds for our own building. Only one localized establishment serves grilled cheese sandwiches, but we will be different. We have a proprietary signature cheese/butter blend that will be used on all sandwiches as the base, and our cheesecakes are infused with a proprietary blend of ingredients that makes the taste out of this world! Having our own space will allow us the flexibility to craft more foods and afford us more time to focus on bettering the existing first responder and military mental health programs

The Crimson Melt Brand is about more than grilled cheese sandwiches and delicious cheesecakes…it’s about saving the lives of those who risk their lives daily to make sure we are all safe. We will stand up our ongoing fundraising campaign to ensure we do our part by raising awareness for first responder and military mental health. So join me in making this dream a reality, and let's get to feeding and saving our military, first responders, and patrons of Oklahoma!
