Let's finish what Phillip started

On Boxing Day 2024, my awesome brother-in-law Phillip died suddenly and unexpectedly at the age of 26. Phillip had been fit and apparently healthy - the autopsy wasn't conclusive but the doctors' best guess is that his death was caused by cardiac arrhythmia.

Phillip was one of the best people I've ever met. He was incredibly intelligent, selfless, funny, creative, patient, and kind. He was a deeply beloved and loving son, brother, nephew, cousin, friend, husband, and dad.

This GoFundMe has been created to help out Phillip's widow Kat and their two-year-old daughter Millie, as well as their unborn bubba (who was doing an Olympics-worthy gymnastics routine in the 12-week scans yesterday).

Phillip and Kat had been renovating their fixer-upper in western Sydney. It currently has no kitchen, no actual walls upstairs, and a highly dubious "bathroom".

While Phillip had life insurance with the ADF, this won't be paid out for at least six months and in the meantime, Kat is pregnant with no income. Phillip (and his amazingly talented parents) had been doing the majority of the reno work himself, but we'll now need to get some tradies onboard to help make the house liveable in a reasonable timeframe.
