Let's FUND Allan Bower since USAG WILL NOT!

Hi All, Thank you for visiting my GoFundMe page and for your consideration in supporting Allan Bower, Team USA Gymnast and 2021 Olympic Team Alternate. Many of you know exactly why you are here, who Allan is, and everything he has been and done for Team USA. His worth to this team over the years has been monumental, many times in difficult position of being team alternate for the World Championships and now the Olympic team. He has never failed to be prepared, give 110% effort, support his teammates, and above all represent the USA with pride, honor, and humility. Unfortunately, USAG and the Men's Program Committee apparently do not see his worth through the same lens. Myself and the entire gymnastics community, including longtime coaches, athletes, teammates, and judges were left in awe when Allan was not named as a funded athlete of the USA National Team, despite him being a travelling alternate to the upcoming Olympic Games in Tokyo. Sounds crazy, right??? That's because it is!!! Allan is the ONLY member of the entire Olympic Squad to have not been offered funding from USAG and the Men's program, which would give him financial support to continue to commit 100% of his efforts to Team USA through Jan. 2022.

I understand many of you are not members of the gymnastics community, so please take a few minutes to read Allan's previous accolades in the sport. He has always been "Mr. Consistent" and the guy you want up in any pressure situation when you need a "hit" routine. In the recent USA Championships and Olympic Trials, Allan successfully completely 24 out of 24 of his routines without any significant errors. This is nearly UNHEARD of in this day and age, where the difficulty level of gymnastics rises almost daily.

So, how do you reward an athlete who has given his heart and soul to this sport for nearly his entire life to get to a level of mastery that on one of the biggest competitive stages in the world you can hit 100% of your routines? Apparently it is with a lack of funding, lack of communication, and a massive display of unappreciation.

Well I say BULLSHIT. Maybe USAG isn't currently willing to support Allan the way that he should be supported, but WE CAN. I ask you to please consider everything Allan has sacrificed throughout his years in this great sport and afford him anything you can to continue to focus his efforts on being the best he can for Team USA.

My family and I have had the great pleasure of watching Allan grow up, working tirelessly to become the athlete and person he is today. We are committing the first $100 to his support fund and hope that you can give as well.
