Let’s get Allicia to the 24h World Championships

Hi! I’m Allicia and I’m going for another run.. this one is a pretty big one.. the 2023 24h World Championships in Taipei in December! Yes, that’s right, I’m running for 24 hours non-stop, and representing my country, Australia whilst doing so.

I am incredibly grateful and truly honoured to have been selected in the Australian team, however, due to the niche of the sport, we are self funded. This results in a huge cost to myself, my crew and the team. We are required to purchase flights, accommodation, uniforms, etc so I would love any support you can give. I understand that times are challenging at the moment, so even if it’s just following my journey on Instagram, it shows your support!

Australia is a nation who love sport, and, although there are many grants available to help athletes, unfortunately there is nothing for ultra marathon runners at this point in time. I hope by the team participating in the 2023 World Championships, this brings some exposure to the athletes and also helps to raise the profile of our amazing sport.

Any support you can give will be extremely appreciated, and go a long way in getting me, my crew and the Australian team to Taipei! Any money raised above my costs I will donate to the team.
