We have started a fundraiser to give back to people and organizations apart of the Down Syndrome community and others labeled as disabled. In Germany, there is still a lot of progress that can be made in terms of equal opportunities, inclusion and resources available to people who may be different from neurotypical people. We want to help be apart of the change in the right direction one step at a time. I just had a daughter in June who was diagnosed with Down syndrome. I’ve never been the same since and I’m so grateful for it. Now I can see the world through a new lens which I am striving to welcome others to be apart of. We all deserve to be loved and respected.
All donations will be split between two foundations. Down Syndrome Berlin and the Pastor Braune Haus which is dedicated to help care for and create opportunities for people no matter their background or disability. Take the first step in being apart of the change.
