Who are we?
As anyone who has ever been down to Eagley Cricket Club can testify, when the sun is shining, there are not many more picturesque spots to sit and watch some great amateur cricket. Our community club is situated in the heart of Bolton, is over 150 years old and has three senior teams and five junior teams ranging from U9's to U18's.
Community Impact
We are a great spot for youngsters of all age to play sports including cricket, as well as Football and Tennis at our complex neighbours and also run regular community events, including weddings, birthdays and charity fund raisers.
Why we are Crowdfunding?
We are currently one of the only clubs in the league without an electronic scoreboard, our old girl has seen much better days and we are trying to raise money for a shiny new digital one.
Cricket clubs are extremely expensive to maintain and run and we need help from our local community to raise funds to achieve our aims.

How we’ll spend the money raised
The cost of converting our existing structure into a new digital frontage will run into the thousands of pounds, so we are setting up numerous fundraising activities to put towards the new scoreboard cost

How you can play your part
There are three simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.
1. Make a pledge. Don’t delay if you’re going to support us because momentum is key to our success!
2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.
3. If you want to run your own fundraiser to support us, maybe a sponsored activity or similar, use the 'contact project' button at the top of our page to let us know. Setting up your own page only takes a few minutes and you won’t need any bank details. Just a fun idea!
Thank you so much for donating towards such a worthy fundraiser, that will help the people of Bromley Cross and surrounding areas enjoy playing cricket for dozens more years to come!
