Let’s get Ginny a new mountain bike!

Most of y’all know that Ginny was in a horrible accident last year. For those who don’t, she was run over by a truck that blew through the intersection. We’re coming up on the 1 year anniversary of that terrible day and thought it would be cool to do something extra special for her. It’s a miracle that she even survived, let alone get back to dancing and riding so quickly. She still moves with pain every day and may never regain her sense of smell. Anyone who’s lived through traumatic experience like that can tell you how difficult life can feel after the sheen of survival has worn off. Like after the flowers stop coming and people see that you’re basically back to “normal.” 

I work for Specialized and they’ve allowed us to purchase an extra bicycle at our employee pricing. I don’t need one, but Ginny is still on her ~10+ year old hard tail. This is where you all come in! I’d love to crowd source the funding for this new bike. We all support Ginny in our own way as friends and family but the bike is a symbol of gratitude that she’s still with us. Going with a mountain bike since road riding isn’t high on her priority list for obvious reasons. There’s enough people in her orbit that each person shouldn’t have to contribute very much at all. I have a bike in mind but also a few backup options. If we fall short of the entire goal then I may be able to subsidize the rest. Please hit me up with any questions! Y’all the best
