Let’s Get Michael a Haircut…

Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to benefit Children With Hair Loss, Inc, and any donation will help make an impact.
As many of you may know, I’ve been growing my hair out for quite a while now. The reason I’ve been growing my hair out is to donate it to a child suffering from a disease that causes hair loss. As some of you know, I was diagnosed with malignant melanoma twice (1987 and 2021). I was fortunate enough to not have to go through chemo and therefore didn’t lose any hair. I’d like to try and cover the administrative costs for the child that receives my hair so that he/she won’t have to pay anything. The cost of that is approximately $3000. I’m soliciting donations to help offset those costs. Once I hit my goal, I’ll be cutting my hair and sending it in to Children With Hair Loss (see below). Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
More information about Children With Hair Loss, Inc: Children With Hair Loss (CWHL) is a non-profit organization providing human hair replacements at no cost to children and young adults facing medically-related hair loss. When a child's hair is lost due to cancer treatments, alopecia, trichotillomania, burns, etc., the painful effects are far deeper than cosmetic. The cost to provide these services is up to $3,000 per child. Thanks to the many donors and volunteers, CWHL is able to maintain their pledge that no child will ever pay for hair replacement.
