Let’s get Michael climbing again

Hello everyone,

My brother, Michael Angelo Gomez-Filippi, was crossing the cross walk on Euclid and C street in Upland, Ca around 1:30 A.M. on 12/09/18, with a group of friends. However, when they all realized the car that was approaching quickly and was not going to stop, it was already too late. The person who was driving did not stop and has still not been found. Michael is currently in the ICU with a broken left leg, elbow, displaced shoulder, a lacerated kidney, and is currently undergoing surgery. After the surgery my brother will not be able to put any weight on his left leg for three months, and then he will go through physical therapy to regain the strength to walk. He will also need a sling for his displace shoulder/clavicle. 

My my brother is very friendly and such a social butterfly. He loves to take photographs and videos while going on adventures with friends. However, one thing he does on almost a daily basis, is to go Rock Climbing. It has become one of his passions. Due to these unfortunate events, we do not know when he will be able to climb again. 

That at is why I am here to ask to help for us to get Michael climbing again. He has a long road ahead of him. We ask if you can make a donation to him to help with his medical bills and to purchase a wheelchair for him and a medical bed as he will not be able to sleep in his room upstairs . Anything helps, not matter how small or big. If you can’t give anything, please just keep Michael and our family in your prayers.
