Let's get Mikey back in the stander!

I am one of Mikey's home nurses and I would give anything to see him back up in his stander smiling like this again!

Unfortunately, since COVID started, it has been impossible to find an ambulance provider to get him to the appointments he needs to get him back in the stander. He needs appointments to have splints made & fitted for his legs as well as regular Botox injections so he can tolerate time in the wheelchair. If his family had a safe wheelchair van to travel in, we could get him to these appointments and more! Mikey loves going to family cookouts, holidays, and birthday parties, but that has not been possible in several years now due to not having a safe & reliable means of transport. He also loves trips to Hampton Beach & Castle Island, but unfortunately I don't know how that will be possible this summer! So many people have been through so much these past few years, so I hate to even ask, but after a few people suggested it...here I am.

This $ would go directly to the family for purchasing a used but safe & reliable handicapped accessible van that Mikey can fit into. He would then be able to be driven to long overdue medical appointments, work towards standing back up in the stander, visit family, and maybe even enjoy a trip to Hampton or his own backyard without being in pain! He deserves to have the chance to smile like this again!
