Let’s get nanny reunited with her son!

Hey guys, my name is Lauren and I am 30 years old (nearly 31) and I haven’t seen my dad in person since I was 21. He is currently serving a 3 year sentence in Florida and is due to be released this June. Previous to this he lives in Malaysia. My nan (his mum) hasn’t seen him for 8 years and even bigger than that, the 3 of us haven’t been in the same room together since 2005! It has been 20 years this year since we have all been together.

This year my biggest dream is to reunite my nan with my dad and to see the smile on her face. She is currently in hospital waiting on surgery for a broken ankle.. in 3 places! This lady doesn’t do things by halves! I know it would make her whole world to see my dad again after loosing another one of her sons last year due to alcoholism. My uncle passed away on my dad’s birthday and I know how much this hurts my nanny. This woman deserves the world and I’m really hoping I can be the one to give it to her.

I have never been one to ask for anything at all but I would want nothing more than to make this happen for my family. My nanny has been a hero to me, the loveliest most incredible human who has beat all odds over the years.

I know that it’s going to be expensive to get us both there but with the power of social media and the help and support there is possibility for it to be done.
