Let's get Owen to Germany and Czech Republic
Donation protected
Owen started playing the cello in the 4th grade. He played for a couple years before switching to the bass, his current instrument. We give credit to Mrs. Blubaugh for his love of playing the bass, and all the opportunities he was given throughout elementary and middle school, all the honors orchestras, and introducing him to the world of the Quad City Youth Ensembles.
Owen has been a member of the Quad City Youth Ensembles for the past 6 years. He is preparing for his 2nd year in the Quad City Youth Symphony, (QCYSO) the "highest" ensemble. This upcoming season is his last, as he will be a senior in high school.
In June 2023, he has a once in a lifetime opportunity to travel with his fellow QCYSO musicians to Germany and Czechoslovakia, where they will be playing concerts in several cities along the way. Cost of the trip is $3900, and does not include additional expenses (cost of the passport for example) that we'll need to cover. The QCYSO will be fundraising throughout the next several months as well.
Owen is the most easy going kid. He is kind, has the biggest heart, and would do just about anything for his family friends. He doesn't ask for a lot of things, but would you consider helping us and sponsoring Owen financially? I know he would be forever grateful.
