Let’s get Pastor Doug a new vehicle!

Hi Y’all,

We are trying to help Pastor Doug buy a vehicle. If you haven’t heard Doug’s truck unfortunately broke down and isn’t really repairable (you probably haven’t heard because Doug doesn’t often mention things like this). I know he wouldn’t like us even mentioning it, but they don’t really have the available funds to get another vehicle currently, and who knows how long Patti’s car will last. Honestly the Lord put this Gofundme idea for Doug in our heads and hearts a couple of years ago as Doug was limping his truck along then, and from the info we were able to piece together it was because that truck was really the only thing he could afford. The life of a pastor is one of great sacrifice and money is no exception. Doug has committed to lay his life down for the flock of God and as Galatians 6:6 says, “The one who is taught the word is to share all good things with the one who teaches him.” And again Galatians 6:10, “So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith”.

Well church we have a great opportunity to give back to someone who has habitually given to us. Let’s support Doug & Patti and raise some funds for our Pastor and Elder. Please do NOT share or mention this to Doug or Patti. Others in their family know and they will be told when the fundraiser is over. All donations (after the Gofundme fees), will be given to Doug and Patti.
