Beautiful Patto needs your help

Hi, we are a group of good mates of the beautiful man we like to call Patto (Brett Patterson). Patto, an Aussie, unfortunately has suffered with some mental health issues over the years, and this has caused him a considerable amount of pain and grief in his life.

As we've said to Patto, none of this is his fault, and there is no shame in this or needing help. Because Patto is such a lovely, kind, gentle , and friendly bloke we know there will be many people who want to help him out of this dire situation he is in.

Around March last year Patto was on a work related trip to the US from Australia, and unbeknownst to him and us all was at the start of a health relapse. For many many months he ended up missing in New York and have since been told he was assaulted, robbed, homeless, and without the help he needed in a very scary situation. He has since lost everything, even in Australia (though we hop to work with the public trustee on this).

From afar we have worked with QLD Police, Australian Federal Police, DFAT, and Interpol to try and locate him, and fortunately after many many months of being missing he turned up and was eventually moved in between two health care units where he has been receiving months of treatment.

Come mid May we embark on the massive task of getting him back home and into care. As part of the arrangements of getting him back home we are required to have an escort for him for each leg of the journey, but also his treatment, housing, and general living expenses for a while when he gets back to Australia and back on his feet. Fortunately some of this is covered already by all of those that love him, but we have many many costs that will be incurred for flights, hotels, health care, housing, food, clothing etc. for Patto and we are asking your help.

If you know the little man with a massive heart I have no doubt you will want to help, as he would if any of us were in the situation he is in! Please give as much as you can to help Patto. Our gift to you will be the happy, friendly little bloke back on home soil in Australia soon!
