Let's Get Rowan to Europe!!

Starting from a very early age, Rowan has always been interested in music and has had a natural gift when it comes to playing. He started by teaching himself how to play the piano. He would listen to a piece, and then mimick the sounds he was hearing on the piano! This evolved into trying out the drums, the violin, and the clarinet. While he enjoyed each of those instruments, it was his 6th-grade year when Rowan found HIS instrument - the French Horn.

Now as he enters his sophomore year of high school, Rowan has grown tremendously in his French horn playing placing 2nd in Oregon State Solo and Ensemble Competition. Rowan also plays Trumpet for his school Jazz band and garnered the Outstanding Trumpet Award at the OMEA State Jazz competition in May 2023.

He has achieved so much in these past 4 years and has massive potential to continue to go on and do incredible things with his music.

Rowan was nominated to attend the Oregon Ambassadors of Music European Tour in July 2024, which we are so excited about! We are fundraising to help get Rowan to his goal so he can attend next summer.
