Support my Journey to Transform others
Donation protected
Our prayers were answered and we got our Christmas miracle on December 20, 2023 when Savoi was one of thirty-one political prisoners released in a prisoner exchange between the US and Venezuela.
We would like to thank everyone for your prayers, love, support, and donations which helped bring Savoi back home after he was wrongfully detained for two months in Venezuela.
“After this life-changing experience, my heart, soul and higher self are guiding me to heal, spend quality-time with those that I love, and to document and share my creative talents to tell this story" - Savoi
The previous Gofundme funds helped pay all costs while Savoi was detained including attorney fees and his immediate needs once he returned home.
While adjusting to being back home Savoi is being called to:
• Take time to heal and recover from the psychological trauma and physical abuse he endured while wrongfully detained and spend quality-time with those he loves via extended stays in the natural world.
• Document his journey in a book that depicts the story of his spiritual awakening and transformation and the new path of renewed purpose that he has discovered
within his life.
Your donations will be put toward:
1) Speaking publicly to share his story and writing his book.
2) Savoi’s healing and recovery: healing retreats, therapy, etc.
3) Financial expenses to get back on track.
4) Other related costs as they arise.
Our family thanks each and every one of you immensely for your contributions and continued support to help Savoi get back on track to living a happy, thriving, and fulfilling life in loving service to humanity.
*No proceeds will be used in a way that would violate any US sanctions.
Background story:
Savoi is a US citizen who was kidnapped and held illegally against his will in Venezuela from October 24, 2023 until Dec 20, 2023. He, along with his family and friends, were extorted for tens of thousands of dollars trying to obtain his release. With no political ties, just a love for the Venezuelan people, Savoi was illegally detained for two months in Venezuela. No criminal charges were filed against him and he was not allowed to see a lawyer during that time. He was placed in a forced disappearance for over three weeks, where no one knew where he was. His human rights were violated and he was not able to have regular contact with his family.
Savoi is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. He has worked as a mortgage loan officer for the past ten years, which allowed him the freedom to work remotely and travel. He spent several years traveling all over the world living a nomadic lifestyle, but the majority of his time has been spent primarily in California, Colombia, Brazil, and most recently, in Venezuela.
Of all the places that Savoi has been, he fell in love with Venezuela the most. He said that there was something extra special about the sweetness of the people and the beauty of the country. At 6'10" tall, Savoi is a gentle giant who has the biggest heart. He is very charismatic. He loves life, people, and adventure. He has a beautiful heart, spirit, and consciousness and is a gift to all that know him. He is a truth seeker. He prides himself on experiencing life as the locals do. He has an affinity for forming friendships everywhere that he goes. It broke our hearts to know that his gentle, kind, loving, and free-spirited soul was in this horrific nightmare of a situation. Thank you God for the release and safe return of Savoi and thirty other political prisoners. It is truly a miracle.
